Executive Situation

Built a headless STL processing engine for dental models that detects an existing closed margin line, trims the scan to the clinical boundary, and creates a printable splint body with controlled cement-gap and wall-thickness offsets.

Modular Solutions Response

Implemented curve-constrained mesh segmentation, signed-distance offset fields, winding-number inside tests, remeshing, normal repair, non-manifold edge cleanup, and validator-oriented STL export so dental CAD teams could pass the output directly into Print3D, Netfabb, or Meshmixer review.
